To the parents/guardians of the young people who come to Woodlands – we want you to know what is going on within the youth ministry here at church. We will keep this place on the website just for you!
On this page we will post information that is specifically for you and some other important information you may wish to know. Any notes or forms that are needed will be posted here too.
We want to work with your children in partnership with you …so please try to check this page whenever you get a chance!
Also, if you have any queries about stuff that’s happening please do not hesitate to get in touch with Stuart (see contacts)
We strongly believe that it is of utmost importance that your children and young people are safe and happy when they are at Woodlands. We work hard to make sure this happens. As part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland we are connected with the Taking Care office at Presbyterian Church House. Below is a quotation from the Taking Care website highlighting what they are all about:
‘Taking Care is the name of the child protection policy of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Our Office is based within the Board of Social Witness and is located on the third floor in Church House, Belfast.
Our aim is to create and promote a safe environment for children, young people and leaders. We deal with all child protection concerns and issues within the Presbyterian Church. We believe that next to proclaiming God’s Word and the love of Christ, nothing could be more important than keeping our children and young people safe.’
